    Facilities and Capacity

Lang Pioneer Village Museum offers several unique locations for a picturesque ceremony and reception. The Grist Mill Lawn is available for ceremonies with views of the river and 19th-century mill. The mill was built in 1846 out of local limestone and is ideal for couples who wish to incorporate history into their special day. The lawn can accommodate ceremonies of up to 100 guests. Alternately, the intimate Glen Alda Church is suitable for up to 65 of the couple’s nearest and dearest. The rustic chapel boasts wooden pews, large windows that allow ample natural light, and a raised stage. It is a non-denominational chapel and is ideal for couples hosting a traditional church ceremony. After the knot is tied, newlyweds and their guests can head to the Peterborough County Agricultural Heritage Building. This large reception hall is spacious enough for 150 guests and can be configured in many different layouts. Couples can personalize the space with decor, floral arrangements, furniture, and other items. The property also features quaint lanes, towering trees, and elegant gardens throughout, which serve as a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos.
